Mustapha Paragon Sonko is a dedicated professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in education and advocacy. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Political Science from the University of the Gambia, alongside an Advanced Diploma in Education from Gambia College, he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Migration and Ethnic Relations at Malmö University in Sweden, focusing on Migration and Citizenship. With a background as a graduate teacher, Mustapha now serves as a Migration Officer at the National Youth Council, actively promoting migrant rights and addressing migration-related issues. His commitment to advocacy and leadership is demonstrated through his roles as Secretary of the African Students Association at Malmö University, former Secretary General of the University of the Gambia Student’s Union, and Board member of Action Aid International-The Gambia, where he represents youth interests and concerns.
